You’re probably familiar with the popular proprietary commercial package Norton Ghost®, and its OpenSource counterpart, Partition Image. The problem with these software packages is that it takes a lot of time to massively clone systems to many computers. You’ve probably also heard of Symantec’s solution to this problem, Symantec Ghost Corporate Edition® with multicasting. Well, now there is an OpenSource clone system (OCS) solution called Clonezilla with unicasting and multicasting!Clonezilla, based on DRBL, Partition Image, ntfsclone, partclone, and udpcast, allows you to do bare metal backup and recovery. Two types of Clonezilla are available, Clonezilla live and Clonezilla SE (server edition). Clonezilla live is suitable for single machine backup and restore. While Clonezilla SE is for massive deployment, it can clone many (40 plus!) computers simultaneously. Clonezilla saves and restores only used blocks in the harddisk. This increases the clone efficiency. At the NCHC’s Classroom C, Clonezilla SE was used to clone 41 computers simultaneously. It took only about 10 minutes to clone a 5.6 GBytes system image to all 41 computers via multicasting!

Features of Clonezilla

• Free (GPL) Software.
• Filesystem supported: ext2, ext3, ext4, reiserfs, xfs, jfs of GNU/Linux, FAT, NTFS of MS Windows, and HFS+ of Mac OS. Therefore you can clone GNU/Linux, MS windows and Intel-based Mac OS, no matter it’s 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x86-64) OS. For these file systems, only used blocks in partition are saved and restored. For unsupported file system, sector-to-sector copy is done by dd in Clonezilla.
• LVM2 (LVM version 1 is not) under GNU/Linux is supported.
• Multicast is supported in Clonezilla SE, which is suitable for massively clone. You can also remotely use it to save or restore a bunch of computers if PXE and Wake-on-LAN are supported in your clients.
• Based on Partimage, ntfsclone, partclone, and dd to clone partition. However, clonezilla, containing some other programs, can save and restore not only partitions, but also a whole disk.
• By using another free software drbl-winroll, which is also developed by us, the hostname, group, and SID of cloned MS windows machine can be automatically changed.

Seiring berjalannya waktu, saya merasa tidak terlalu perlu untuk tetap memiliki account di FS ini. Tetapi bagaimana dengan anda? tentunya segala keputusan ada pada anda sendiri. Jika masih dan tetap bermanfaat…. Why Not?

Kali ini saya coba menuliskan bagaimana langkah-langkah untuk menghapus account kita dari FS.

1. Login seperti biasa (email dan password anda).
2. Pada bagian sebelah kanan atas, ada menu bertuliskan Setting, klik pada bagian setting ini.
3. Setelah anda berada pada bagian setting, di bagian paling bawah [Pada kotak setting terletak di sudut kanan bawah) ada tulisan “Cancel Account”. Klik pada link tersebut.
4. Anda akan di minta verifikasi login user (Email) dan password anda saat ini. Beberapa opsi mengapa anda ingin berhenti dari fasilitas FS ini.
5. Contreng pada bagian kotak kecil yang bertuliskan “Yes, I want to cancel my Friendster Account” Verification.
6. Tekan/klik pada bagian “Proceed”… dan account anda akan hilang dari FS.

INGAT!!! Account yang sudah di hapus tidak dapat dikembalikan lagi setelah anda menekan tombol “Proceed”. Data anda akan benar-benar terhapus permanen. Jadi pertimbangkan dahulu sebelum anda bertindak.

Semoga sedikit artikel saya ini membantu anda yang merasa tidak perlu account FS lagi.

1. Buat Folder Baru di sembarang drive / Create a new folder in your drive.

2. Rename Folder tersebut dengan nama baru CON / Rename the new folder with CON.

Sebenarnya saat kita memberikan perintah cetak, (kondisi tinta sudah kembali terisi) komputer akan memberikan informasi bahwa cartridge masih kosong dan indikator tinta berada pada posisi habis, dan satu-satunya tombol yang aktif untuk di klik adalah “CANCEL PRINT”.

Ini adalah kelemahan kita atau akibat kepanikan kita sehingga males baca, Coba kita baca tulisan tersebut dan coba terjemahkan (diperlukan kamus Inggris-Indonesia, he he he). Disitu dituliskan : “…Please push resume button 5 Seconds or cancel your printing job”…dst, yang artinya : tekan tombol resume (diprinter ada dibagian bawah power) selama 5 detik atau lebih, atau tekan cancel untuk membatalkan perintah cetak anda.

Tips & Triknya
“Tekan tombol resume selama kurang lebih 5 detik, kami biasanya menekan hingga waktu 10 detik. karena terkadang dengan menekan 5 detik gagal.” (mungkin salah ngitung )

Kesimpulan
Pada dasarnya, komputer selalu menampilkan informasi apa yang harus dilakukan (What must we do) tetapi sudah pada umumnya kepanikan kita membuat kita menjadi terburu-buru dan mengabaikan tulisan² (Pop Up) pada komputer kita. Tips dan trik ini hampir berlaku pada semua tipe canon (Non Chipset) hanya mempunyai beberapa perlakuan yang berbeda seperti misalnya pada model PSC (Multi Fungsi) bukan tombol resume yang ditekan, tapi bisa saja tombol stop, atau reset atau copy. (Harap selalu di baca informasi yang nongol di komputer).

Tips dan trik ini memang terjadi dan kita alami di hampir seluruh customer kami, semoga dengan tulisan² ini bisa membantu teman² yang jauh dari Toko Komputer atau tempat Servisan. Insya Allah, nanti akan dipostingkan juga gambar² yang memang mendukung informasi diatas (prosedur).
